I had mixed emotions when I started with the book, some of the stuff I found a little bit annoying but it started to make sense.
Marriage of convenience/ Arranged marriages are one of my favourite tropes and this book displayed the trope really good. And if I talk about the slow burn, it wouldn’t have been better, the book had me hooked that I was patient enough to go through 90% of the book!! 
Perry is a little soft hearted comparatively to his brothers but I think he may just become my favourite. I loved how he was caring yet dominating when he had to be. 
I liked the character of perry more than charlotte.
The book ends on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to start the ruthless groom because ah I would give anything to see Perry Constantine in action 😩😩

Omg! Me being me, I go into almost every book completely blind. Which means I didn’t realize that this wasn’t a stand alone 😫 I think this cliffhanger is going to kill me!

The SLOW burn and all the tension keeps you hooked right from the beginning. 

I loved Whit and Crew Lancaster and Charlotte is no different. These Lancasters are just built different 🤪 

Perry, ugh swoon. Even though he has zero intention of going through with this marriage he really just can’t but to feel protective over her. 

I really can’t wait to see how Perry and Charlotte handle the current situation that u food at the end of this book.

Oh man Perry completely won me over in this book! Talk about SWOON! Who would’ve known there’s a white knight within the Constantines?

Monica hooked me from the first chapter of Reluctant Bride. Her writing style is clean, immersive and easy to read making for a pleasant flow of events. Not once was I distracted or brought out of the story while reading. 

Perry Constantine is such a surprise for me! I quickly melted for his protective demeanor toward Charlotte. He’s the playboy of the family and I didn’t expect him to be genuinely charming. Of course he would have swagger but he’s more than that. His heart is secretly huge and Charlotte slips past his guards rather effortlessly. I don’t think any woman could resist his exclusive blend of gentle possessiveness laced with care.

Charlotte is smart and cunning. Beaten down by her lineage but her inner spirit has not yet been snuffed out. She can’t help but do small things to rebel which brought an extra layer of admiration to her character. Who doesn’t love a rich heiress who’s favorite color is black, collects antiques and has a cat named Doja? These qualities made Charlotte more down to earth and in return overall more memorable than the typical heiress character. 

I guess it’s safe to say that both of these characters wormed their way into my own heart! I honestly like them both in their own individual characters and want to see them flourish. The build up between Perry and Charlotte is exquisite. Reading how they slowly unravel for each other was gratifying to say the least. They grow into their own confidence, spilling that same vibe into their arranged marriage. Their connection is inevitable and I’m thirsting for more.

It's astonishing how much tension there is between Charlotte and Perry. Normally, I don't like books that end on cliffhangers, but this one has me eager for more. You'll want to keep flipping the pages . When will book 2 come out?

This was my first book in the Midnight Dynasty world and now I need to go back and read all of the others! I’ve had a few of them in my TBR, but had no idea they were apart of a connected world. The scope of this project fascinates me and now I have even more reason to read all of them. And the authors involved are the cherry on top! 😍

The Reluctant Bride released is the first installment in the Wedded Bliss trilogy. I read it in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down!

You can expect a(n arranged) marriage of convenience between heiress Charlotte Lancaster and Perry Constantine, bachelor member of the billionaire crime family. 

This one is fun yet angsty, sweet yet seductive, and definitely spicy. I couldn’t get enough of Perry and Charlotte together, because … *whew* loved them.
