Moonlight

Clair de Lune is a short story by Guy de Maupassant published in 1882, which tells the story of Father Marignan, whose deep religion has never failed to accept God's plans and the teachings of the Church, until the evening when, under the soft light of the moon, he finally meets the true Spirit of God.
