Charlene (everybody wants to date her) has issues and Jack is abusive and controlling. That dude throws up so many red flags. So many many many unnecessary details in this book. Soooo many things could have been left out. There is a glaring spotlight on both the killer and the murder weapon. There was no subtlety there.
