ooooh i got shivers when i read this book. dark romance isn't exactly my thing (especially when they're too much 'darkness') but this one is hehehe, yes baby. the cliffhanger is killing me btw. thank you.

I went into this book thinking I would know what to expect and wow was I proven wrong. Starting with the elements I love of dark mafia romance it was easy to dive right in with Lev and Kat, the innocent underage girl in his club catching his eye even though he’s all sorts of wrong for her. What I didn’t predict was how strong of a woman Kat would be, so much more than Lev bargained for, she’s a true spit fire that can take care of herself. She already has in the past and will do it again without a doubt, especially once it’s not just about her anymore. She has a child to think of wether or not it’s what she panned for, it’s what she has to do. She’ll protect him from the monster of a father she believes Lev to be, if only she would’ve known how things change when he finds out. Lev has his own struggles in life to get through as an orphan taken in by his uncle. He feels indebted to him, trapped in the ways of the Russian mafia with no way out. Although he is brutal you find yourself aching for him and his past, his true self being hidden under the harsh realities of his world and the betrayals in it. You can’t help falling for him just as much as Kat once you see his soft side. Natasha Knight and A. Zavarelli quickly capture your attention with Mine, I was unable to put it down once it got started. I was on the edge of my seat (well really clutching my bed sheets), it’s sexy, dark, raw, and twisted. His will be one hell of a ride and I can not wait to read the conclusion to Kat and Lev’s story.

ngl i only came here for the talialexei breadcrumbs, my favorite couple and loml from the boston underworld series, and i have to admit this was a highly entertaining, very plot-driven story. was it anything new or unique when it comes to the mafia genre? no, but it worked nontheless for what it set out to do. given that it features one of my most loathed tropes (accidental pregnancy), in this case it was actually developed in a way that i didn't mind. our hero lev had some unhinged scenes that were chefs kiss and i actually liked that the heroine had some backbone and was ready to risk it all for her kid. overall a fast-paced story with a lot of action and stuff going on all the time that allowed me to devour this entire book in one sitting. it ends on a cliffhanger so be prepared to binge this duology.

I N E E D B O O K 2 N O W!!!! I need to know what happens next!!! OMG. Filthy filthy cliffhanger.
