I loved how the book started from the killer's POV; it kept me on the edge of my seat. The more I read in the book, the more I started to find out who the killer was, which killed the mood of the book for me. I would really describe the book as being really mysterious, more than the book being a thriller.

I love how the book takes place in a high school setting and how everyone thinks that the silly little post was just a game. Then later on, people started to find out the post was not a game. I loved how the first two people died. Like when Debbie was the first one to die in the book. She was really getting on my nerves at the party.

All in all, I think that the book is a pretty good read for when you are trying to read something new. I love how the book kept me on the edge of my seat when someone would die from their fear.

while i loved this whole plot line, i felt the ending could have been a bit more paced out. it was wrapped up rather quickly in the last five chapters. 

i liked izzy. she was a bit annoying at times, but i think she was just scared which is understandable. plus i think this author hates all her main characters because why are none of them happy when the books over. 

ALSO THE OPEN ENDING??? PLEASE KILL ME NOW.

while i loved this whole plot line, i felt the ending could have been a bit more paced out. it was wrapped up rather quickly in the last five chapters. 

i liked izzy. she was a bit annoying at times, but i think she was just scared which is understandable. plus i think this author hates all her main characters because why are none of them happy when the books over.

I liked the writing style and the characters

From the start I thought of Axel but it would be too obvious and typical, as the story progressed, I started suspecting Tristian and Justin, they both acted sus in different ways

But the ending.. I never would have thought it was both Axel and Tristian, what a plotwist

I don't understand why it ended like that tho, like what was the reason behind making them both be the killer

What was Axel's motivation? I wish we got more of that, so it could be easier to draw the lines.

This book was so amazing. This is the kind of book where you’re on the edge of your seat the whole time. Plot twist was so amazing left my jaw on the floor.

wasn’t expecting them to be the killer honestly… i feel like the plot and everything was rushed, especially the end AND THE ENDING CLIFFHANGER??? and it’s a standalone… but this book was so good, pls read it

Upon my search for a spooky book, I found this one. It sounded really interesting. Originally I thought maybe something supernatural would take place. Teens post their death fear and then start dying in the way of their fear. Instead of supernatural, it is revealed to be a serial killer. Still, it's pretty interesting. One thing I enjoyed about this book is how the author draws you in, and keeps you turning the page. Which teen is next? What was their death fear? Who is this mysterious killer? 

The author adds in a few chapters from the killer's point of view, labeling them as "Fear". It was a nice addition, getting a peek into the killer's mind. It made me want more insight from the killer. In their chapters, there's a VERY brief look into his mind and what his plans were. I wanted MORE. The rest of the book was from Izzy's POV, which is fine because we need an outsider's POV to make it more mysterious. However, I really wanted more from the killer. Being stuck in Izzy's POV while this goes down was okay, but not great. She, of course, is the perfect choice because these things are happening around her. She's never a target, and yet is investigating this whole thing. After all, she is the one who discovers the first body. 

Overall, I definitely enjoyed this book. It made me crave more. It ended too quickly for me. I wanted more murder, more mystery, more insight from the killer. It's a very modern book, being published in March of 2022. It made me curious to look after the author mentioned TikTok in the book. The ending of this book... I was not ready for. There are 52 chapters in the book, and within the last two there are TWO PLOT TWISTS. The first one wasn't really shocking. That one was the reveal of the killer. However, the very ending of this book had be GASPING. If you're looking for something spooky, this book is a nice and easy read in my opinion!

a 3-star rating for me. It was VERY predictable for me, I figured out who the killer was from the start, it was quite obvious. I wish the ending was so open-ended, but I can see how others may like that aspect. I really loved the concept, a meme that gets people to describe their worst way to die and then they start to die in the same way... it was a fun-ish winter thriller, I wish it had a better ending that didn't leave me feeling so empty -_-

Such a great read! I was hooked from start to finish. The ending frustrated me SO MUCH! Possibly the biggest cliffhanger ever for the story.

She made so many insanely obvious terrible choices, even for a teenager. Lots of irrelevant, weirdly-worded teen drama moments that made the overall book more frustrating to read. 

The ending felt like it was thrown in there to be a “gotcha” but it definitely would have been better without it. If there’s not a sequel to this book then I give it even less than one star. I usually love Natasha Preston books and am very disappointed in this one.

I took a star off because of that Harry Potter reference in the beginning, but other than that, this was a very good book.
