Hate to love ... Holidays have you in a frenzy but need a quick read to get you through all that family togetherness? This book is for you! It could have been longer and I would have been ok with it. You love to read hate to love with sexual tension ....go on treat.yo.self. The alpha boss with a arsehole façade but really he's obsessed with you, the kick arse assistant ...classic office romance. Go on treat.yo.self. 99 pennies for a little bit of happiness.

The book was a mix of fun, anger, tension, lust and passion feelings! I suggest you read the book if you need short break I finished in a hour! . . . its kinda like fifty shades of grey that the employee falls in love with her sexy boss and they start to sleep together but the difference is that Michael is a womanizer that he has a sex calendar! . . . I didn't like how Michael treated Mya because he didn't want to have sex with her and keep avoiding her so he keeps pressuring her and treat her badly so she can quit and when she wants to quit he didn't agree! actually I felt like he is a coward cocky asshole! he was reading all her emails but never changed the way he treated her! I assume that because he wanted her to take the first move like when she sent the mail to him by mistake then he had sex with her! I kinda liked how he was passionate about her and paying attention to every detail about her! I was disappointed that the end wasn't good enough that the author doesn't give as much about their relationship whether its love or only sex-relationship!

This book was a light read or what I would call a ONE NIGHT STAND BOOK. It’s an easygoing book with little to no struggles in the lives of the characters. Maya is as witty as they come and the emails written in the book are very much amusing and interesting. Michael is bossy and enjoys punctuality; however, Michael’s point of view specifically in the first few chapters is hilarious. His ex-executive assistant is funny af * excuse my French or don’t whatever lol * This is a four star book because it lacks deepness and morals, it is merely a book written and read for enjoyment. It also has usage of strong language and what could be considered as mediocre sexual scenes aka PG 15. Xx Menna Khaled Xx

I loved this, it was short but really good. Maybe the ending felt a little rushed, and i would have liked a longer epilogue, but I really enjoyed it. It was funny, and a little spicy, and I loved the chemisry and dynamic of Mya and Michael.

Super short and super sweet. Love it

I finished that way too soon, I think. Michael Leighton is irritating but also funny. I thoroughly enjoyed the funny/sexy/petty email exchanges. I love everything that is present in this book: pettiness, bantering, sexual tension. On to the next book in the series now.

this was ?? so good ??? and the ending !!! it took me a second to get it but it made me so happy, but also so sad that it was ending so abruptly :( i wish i got to see more before and/or after the little epilogue but i still loved it so much. this was everything i wanted from beautiful bastard — and i am SO happy to have now found an author that writes love interests that don’t make me want to gouge my eyes out.

Quick fun short read. Feels way too short, even for a novella

This book wasn’t necessarily great, but I’m a sucker for tense office passion. Mya London works as an executive assistant for Michael Leighton, CEO of Leighton Publishing. He over works her, is rude, ungrateful, etc. He and Mya professionally insult each other VIA email, basically telling each other to F-off with sophisticated words. Mya also fumes and rants to her friend through email about how horrible her boss is, but also just happens to mention her sexual fantasies about him. Unfortunately, instead of replying her her best friend, she replies all this to the boss man himself. He confronts her and pretty much decides to be double hard on her until he makes it a point to make her fantasy come true. Afterwards their banter continues, now with more sexual tension and teasing.

Where do I sign up to work for this publishing company? This story was fire and adorable. This came by recommendation and was a quick and delicious read!
