Very short, and a surprising ending.

I love Sherlock Holmes and I love Gaiman but I have to say I was a bit reluctant when I started reading this story. I didn't know what to expect and was wondering how Gaiman would reinvent A Study in Emerald. It turns out this was quite an enjoyable read even though I had trouble imagining Holmes in that Gaiman setting. Many reviewers seem to have liked the audio version read by Gaiman himself so I'm thinking of giving it a try :)

Really reads as the prologue to a novel I'd love to read, but I'm also fascinated that this is the sole part of this story that exists.
