Lately, any comic or book that makes me laugh out loud more than once or twice, deserves one more star. So, there you go! Great volume, and an even greater relationship between Peter and Boomerang, love where this is going. Makes me miss Superior Foes of Spider-Man. Nice artwork too!

Continues to be interesting and fun, even though the artwork I do have a problem with, not a huge fan of Bachalo's art. Fun read nonetheles with great stories inside, and a fun one with JJJ which I really liked, and it was also Christmas in the story so that was a bonus for me.

Fun times with Kraven and Co. Liked that Spencer got that J. M. DeMatteis's vibe down. From the way Kraven talks acts and his whole persona, is straight out of Kraven's Last Hunt, and for good reason, because that's who Kraven is, even after all these years, I'd recommend to even read Last Hunt before starting this one, especially if you haven't read it at all, then you should definitely read that first. Hunted is really nice, with an ok end that I wasn't fully satisfied but it wasn't boring either. A good read, and even though the artwork wasn't really working out for me, I just don't like Ramos' art style, oh well, that took off 1 star pretty much. And thankfully, Ottley came back again just in time for the next arc.

You know, I like pretty much everything Spencer writes, and the artwork was great, but this one didn't do it for me.. boring and for no reason. Like, for a Spider-Man comic, Spidey is barely in it. And I don't care at all about the z-list villains running around talking too much not being funny doing nothing.. and that comes from the guy who bought Superior Foes of Spider-Man digital issues release date, then trade print, and then the omnibus again. That's how much I loved the series about a bunch of nobodies written by Spencer.. but here is just not good enough. And then it's this villain Kindred.. that worm guy.. like.. yeah we get it you're evil and all that, he started out as mysterious and creepy and now it's dragging the same act for way too long and I'm already bored and don't really care what he's going to do, all he does is talk to himself or others whenever they're not around, he hides and he makes threats who half the time no one's there to hear those threats. Like, do what you gonna do already. If his power is to kill everyone from boredome then he's doing a hell of a job. Not recommended.

It was ok. Nice artwork. Plotwise, it's.. well.. you liked the Absolute Carnage event? Then this one is just a tie-in that's neither good or bad. It just goes on with what Parker's doing to help Venom and with the whole event. You DON'T have to read it to read the event, and it's an ok addition to the event I guess.

I don't know why I had high hopes for this one.. I like Spencer, I loved Superior Foes of Spider-Man, I actually bought that shit thrice, the digital, the trade, and then the oversized HC edition. So.. yeah.. I liked it. BUT, this one was ok, fun I guess, but nothing to get excited about, the fun thing was that Parker got a roommate and it's Boomerang, who you'd care about reading because of Spencer's Foe's book which you should definitely read if you haven't yet. Other than that, the plot is ok, the dialogue is ok, the artwork is great! That's about it. Hope it gets better from now on.

A fun, fresh re-boot of a college aged Peter Parker trying to do what he does best: be spider-man.

I am really enjoying this run on Spider-Man by Nick Spencer. I plan on continuing the series.
