I am looking at her, but I can feel her seeing me too, and for the first time in my entire immortal life, I sense the shadows connecting, like two mirrors pointed at each other.

Tilly summoned the Crocodile. The Crocodile is from Darkland. The Darkland royals probably saw an opening to retrieve their dark shadow. Vane will give the shadow back, I’m sure of it.

“If you won’t choose,” I tell him, “I’ll make you choose.” “I clearly already have, Roc.”

“In the light, I will treat you like a queen, but in the dark, you will be my whore.”

It was always meant to be Vane. We will all have her, but Vane might get a part of her that the rest of us can never see.

I liked it better than the second one, I felt like there was less smut and more plot (thank god) ! It was a bit slow in the beginning as I took a few days to start it but otherwise it was quite fast-paced

The consent in these said smut scenes are rather questionable because the main character never seems to have a choice if she wants to participate or not, and nothing seems to be for her pleasure. The only character I might have liked was Vane, I would have enjoyed seeing some of his point of views

This book ended on a cliffhanger but I have no interest in reading the next book. If this book had been only about Hook and Roc I would have enjoyed it more, there is undeniable tension between them and I enjoyed reading their pov's

In my opinion, this book was the worst of the first two books. I feel like they are stretching the story for no reason because there is not much more to tell. And there is still a fourth book!!! 

And I feel like there have been too many points of view in this book. Even a wolf has had a POV. Anyway, I'm going to read the last book to finish the saga.

This series never disappoints and are always a quick read that is enjoyable. The plot of this one I really enjoyed and it set up the last book so well. I can’t believe I always do this to myself but I don’t have the last book yet and will have to wait to read until I get it but just know already that I’m going to love it with the rest of the series.

I have some questions about Roc and Hook 

This book is somehow even better than the first two. Nikki definitely came into her craft. The story is fast paced and so, darkly smutty that I find myself envious that I don’t have 4 Lost Boys to dick me down 😂💀😩

This book is slam packed with action and villains! I do feel like there was less horny sex in this one than the previous two books. It also feels like there was more development of the individual relationships and the group as a whole. They're definitely a solid family now.

I absolutely loved Winnie just going savage at points in the story. That just really satisfied me.

There are lots of POVs in this one and it can be little hard to keep up with but I didn't really mind.

It ended on a cliffhanger as usual so I'll be anxiously awaiting book #4 because I just need to know how it ends.

I will never get over how beautifully Nikki writes but also how easy it is to devour her books in a single sitting. That being said, I needed the next book like yesterday 😂 

I loved seeing more of the Lost Boys but Roc really stole the show for me this time. He’s cheeky and dangerous and has pockets full of peanuts, what more do you need? I’m so ready to see how he continues to fit into the story and how his relationship with other characters develop (especially a certain one in particular 👀). 

This third book was a lot more plot heavy than the first two but it just felt like it sucked you further into the world of Neverland, which is perfect because I am so not ready to leave.

i didn’t like this one quite as much as the first two, but i still liked it and read it in one sitting!

The plot is still poorly executed, inconsistent and made up on the go. I’m mad about the wasted potential - but I won’t rant about that because I already did in my last two reviews for the previous books.

“Whoever finds her first gets to pick a hole.”

But what I will rant about - because it became unbearable for me - is the misogynism in this book. And it’s even worse that it’s written BY a women FOR other women. Let’s be honest it’s mostly disgusting male gaze 🌽  fantasies. I‘m gonna share some gems.

“Yes, fuck me, Dark One. Make me your cum slut.

The FMC likes sex. And I really like that about her. Because I grew up with stupid societal beliefs like ‚men who enjoy themselves have the master key and women who do the same have a weak lock‘ teaching me to be ashamed of myself and hide - so it’s great to see the opposite and get an empowering FMC, right?

“Our Darling wants to act like a whore,” Vane says, “shall we fuck her like one?”

Wrong. Winnie’s purpose is not promoting female empowerment. The only purpose of her sexuality is to satisfy four constantly horny men and their desires. We’re told that we shouldn’t shame her for enjoying herself and then she’s constanly called a ‚whore‘. Yeah, well, thank you for pointing it out and then using words who implicitly contain judgement (Quoting the dictionary: whore = insulting word for a women who has sex with a lot of different partners and whose behavior in her sexual relationships is considered immoral) and even enforce that by obviously implying, whores don’t have to be treated respectfully. Nevermind 🙄

Pan gets in close at my backside. “Let’s fuck her at the same time.” “You think she can take it?” “I think she doesn’t have a choice.”

And even though she enjoys sex, she unfortunately doesn’t participate acitvely. Instead she’s constantly objectified, used and degraded. If that’s a kink, fine, it’s definitely not my kink. Consent is a difficult topic as well. She often has no option to voice her disconsent and if she does, it’s either ignored or disrespected and sexual actions become ‚punishment‘ (No joke, it actually happened that way).

[…] she pulls up just enough to breathe out roughly around my 

 . “She likes that,” I tell him. “I fucking love that,” she says.

But in order to prevent that it could be interpreted as r@pe, she never fails to state at least one time per interaction how much she likes it. So don’t worry, everything’s fine 🙃
