Sickness, Disability and Work: Breaking the Barriers (Vol. 1) Norway, Poland and Switzerland
This report is the first in a new OECD series on sickness, disability and work. It explores why more and more people of working age are ending up out of the workforce relying on long-term sickness and disability benefits when general health levels are improving. It looks specifically at the cases of Norway, Poland and Switzerland, highlights the role of institutions and policies, and makes a number of recommendations for reform.
