The Ansel Adams Wilderness A Photographic Journey

This is the fifth book in my Sierra Wild Nature Series. The first, Waterfalls of Yosemite focused on the waterfalls of Yosemite Valley, an area that sees over 4 million visitors a year. Photos from the Edge of the World: Volumes 1-3 featured photos from a small mountain in a subdivision in the Sierra foothills. In Volume 5, we will go farther afield and off the beaten path into the Wilderness. Legally designated wilderness, that is. Wilderness that is limited to human powered recreation. No mechanization is allowed. In the following pages, you will find over 40 photographs that I've taken over the past few decades. I've included some historical maps and some trivia to keep it interesting.
