Solo diré: Dank Walker, no se puede ser más sexy que este hombre... o ente... o criatura, lo que sea, yo quiero uno igualito!!! No supero Yet you Stay :'(

loving this series even more

Not blocking spoilers, so if you don't want any, don't read. Holy Grammatical errors... Once again i'm going to have to say that the book was just okay. i didn't despise it, but i definitely didn't love it. "who would have thought that death could be so sweet" WHAT IS SO SWEET ABOUT HIM?!? i still hate the fact that the main character/love interest is named Dank and calling him Dankmar did NOT make it any better. He is a controlling asshole, in my opinion. the jealousy he showed was just WAY over the top and was a huge turnoff. absolutely no swooning here. i find myself really disliking his character. and i HATED that he kept saying he "owned" her. no you don't. she's a human being not an object. why is that even ok? and the dumb girl is just ok with it. Speaking of dumb girl, Pagan is just so damn whiney and she complains entirely too much. i hate how they used the adjective "strong" to describe her in the book when she is the exact opposite of that. She's pathetic, immature, self centered, and quite frankly, she's completely irritating. They're living in a completely toxic relationship, but that's okay, though. because he "loves" her. it was that cliche instant love where they knew absolutely NOTHING about each other. totally true love, am i right? It's not a healthy relationship and it's just making teens think that relationships are supposed to be full of jealousy and possession . Leif... don't get me started. he has been caring and loving and loyal to pagan for practically her WHOLE LIFE, but yet he's supposed to be considered a villain just for the mere fact that he has no soul? he SAVED HER LIFE and made her happy/helped her NUMBEROUS times and in the end he even lets her go. but that means nothing to selfish Pagan. He chose to save her life when they were young children, and for that he is being condemned and stomped all over? Shut the front door. The whole story seemed unfocused and jumbled. Her mom "unknowingly" sells her soul to a VooDoo king? Are you frigging serious? there was just no depth to the story. and then another failed attempt at a lame "cliff hanger" ending. the ONLY characters i didn't want to hit at some point or another were Gee and Wyatt

Very good addition This was a very good second book. It leads up to the confrontation between Dank and Ghede. Even though Pagan and Dank have been allowed to be together, they still have to contend with Ghede and the restitution he believes he is owed. Ghede knows that he can't take Pagan and targets those close to her. Leif is still attempting to take back her affection but his attempts are stalled by Dank and Gee. Pagan has to come to terms with what Dank's job really requires. Pagan's mother is vacant for most of this book but does make an appearance when the specifics of her request to Ghede are needed. As with the previous book, I got a strong sense of deja vu in this book because of the similarities to other similar series. The difference remains that I still enjoy this series and in most cases did not finish other similar series because I hated how the storyline changed.
