This is a beginners guide to the FLDS. If you've read the the books by Rebecca Musser, Carolyn Jessop, Elissa Wall or the Jon Krakauer book "Under the Banner of Heaven", Brower's book will be a little repetitive. However, it's a solidly written book and goes more in-depth on Warren Jeffs lunacy with information from Jeffs' own priesthood records., Brower focuses on Warren Jeffs and "current" FLDS issues from an outsiders perspective and does a good job explaining some FLDS idioms like "keep sweet" and blood atonement.
