Canadian Union Movement in the 1980s Perspectives from Union Leaders

This volume presents the perspectives of Canada's prominent labour leaders on the major challenges and issues facing the Canadian labour movement in the 1980s, and how unions have responded to them. The study is based on personal interviews with heads of 12 major unions and federations conducted by the editors during the months of March through November 1987.
