Set in Singapore, this is a mathematical adventure where a mystery from the past is solved following obscure clues left by a dead photographer.
Nicely paced with some fun facts and information and a likeable hero and heroine and teacher role model.

Negatives - compared to the kind of suspense adventure stories out there in the world this was a little plodding - and the chapter explaining the motives of the bad guy was well, just plain bad - writing school 101 show don't tell. and this was just one big tell. Nevertheless, it shows Singapore home grown literature is getting better and more worth reading and my upper elementary kids are really going to enjoy this.
