Reunion in Death
At exactly 7.30 pm, Walter Pettibone arrives home to his surprise birthday party. Although he has known about the planned event for weeks, the real surprise is yet to come. At 8.45 pm, a woman with emerald eyes and red hair hands him a glass of champagne. One sip and he is dead.

That scene in Dallas just about broke my heart.

Reunion was hard to rate. I really liked the backstory that happened in this book because I liked seeing Peabody get her own case, meeting her parents, and then see Dallas learn more about her past. But the case itself wasn't my favorite one that Leuteninent Eve Dallas has come across. I just got tired of it and didn't see it as all that interesting. I just wanted more from the case. So we ended up settling on 3.5-stars. Nevertheless, it was a solid read, and I definitely recommend the audiobook!
