It's definitely not the best that I've read from Laymon but it was okay. I didn't entirely dislike the basis of the book but there was just so much missing and it was completely unbelievable in many areas. It was entertaining enough to be worth what I paid for it but not something I would read again. When you mix murder, rape, a cult, a reporter, a writer, ex-military and magical beans it is semi-comical.
