October 05, 2003 It takes about an hour to read this book, which isn't any great feat giving it's a straight up rendition of the show's pilot. It was good, mindless fun. :) The dialogue is pure Joss. The novelization comes in the description of the actions, some of the backstory and in how the writer describes the characters.
