Apprentice "problem solver" Matthew Corbett, along with his colleague Hudson Greathouse, agrees to escort mass murderer Tyranthus Slaughter from an asylum outside Philadelphia to New York City for transport to London for trial, but along the way a lapse in judgement by Corbett brings about disastrous results.
