Waving Not Drowning

Waving Not Drowning

Rosie Rushton2003
A look at the secret world teenagers often inhabit at home and the resulting pressures. Three teenagers, all alike in misery: one, abandoned by his mother, has spent most of his life in care; another feels responsible for his grandmother who is suffering from Alzheimer’s; and the third, the daughter of successful but quarrelling parents. Their worlds collide when the ferris wheel collapses and they all wind up in the same hospital.
