This book focused on Liz and tbh at first i did not like her. she was outspoken and mean and just stubborn. but after she warmed up to Raahosh, she became fiercely loyal and i loved that about her. Once she goes in she goes ALL in and i really love that.

I didn't love this as much as the first one, but it was still enjoyable! Less trauma plot from the whole alien-abduction storyline, which made this book fluffier but more meandering.

I liked Raahosh, but Liz was a lot sometimes. (The "cootie" nickname is annoying to me, but oh well lol 😂) Still, I like that her personality was distinct from Georgie, our heroine of book 1.

However, this book struggled a bit with maintaining a positive opinion of Georgie & Vektal; they play the role of obstacles in this storyline, which was a bit of a bummer. (But going back to book 1 and reading their honeymoon bonus story was a nice reminder of why I like them.)

I liked seeing cameos from Kira and Aehako, so that got me excited to see their next book.

🐹: kidnapping; held against will, but then becomes very "willful."

Wet dreams do not come cuter than Liz and Raahosh! 🥰😍 Her strong-willed and down-to-earth personality made her an incredibly fun character to get to know and experience.

Together with Raahosh, who felt unloved and unsightly, proved to be the perfect complement to Liz's intransigence and Raahosh's keenness. The reason this series is so appealing is that it connects all of the girls from the group who have survived (Ice Planet Barbarians); their stories entwine with each other, so it was a pleasure to encounter Georgie and Vektal in a novel other than their own.

While reading Dixon's series, I feel as if I am observing this planet from afar, which is quite engaging and entertaining, and, as the series progresses, the lore becomes more complex and ✨increasingly unhinged✨. [I am fascinated that these girls could be pregnant for nearly three years?]

BARBARIAN ALIEN is superbly written and seamlessly integrates past events without allowing them to become repetitive. Reading about how each girl felt when they were stranded or what they were doing when they were abducted was ✨very✨ interesting. Liz's discomfort about not having a choice in this situation was ✨valid✨. I enjoyed reading about her perspective, and her human emotions were enjoyable to observe, especially since she was unable to understand any of them but her friends—unlike Georgie and Kira.

Compared to Georgie's adventure, I found Liz’s novel to be much more seductive than filthy. As a result of their brokenness, Liz and Raahosh remain fragile beings—[not meant in a negative sense]. Yet—although this courtship is fragile for both parties, it has also been very heartwarming to read and to be a part of.

There is no one like Liz or Georgie, and the same is true for Raahosh and Vektal so far. Excited to continue onward and upward with BARBARIAN LOVER. 🛸

This is the second book in the Ice Planet Barbarians. Our heroine is like the other women, confused and scared of their new surroudings and situations. She doesn't want to have to take a mate, just to live but this is not Earth and if they want to survive, they will have to accept their new situation. But our heroine is a bit stubborn and our hero isn't meek or mild. He is one to take action especially when he doesn't understand why his mate is so resistent when he is only trying to help her. So he kidnaps her and takes her to his cave hidden from his people. Even though I enjoyed the first book a bit more, I did enjoy these characters and seeing their story fall into place here. I actually really liked seeing these two fall for each other and yeah its not simple by any means. Its also not a story to take too seriously. Its mean to be entertaining and unique and the author definitely gives us that with these blue horned aliens. I did like seeing how our heroine asserts herself into 
  Raahosh's life and show him that she can be just as capable of a hunter as he is. But what really makes this story win for me is the ending here. I liked seeing the dynamics of the village and their culture, and seeing these two find their HEA, even if its pretty intense toward the end there. Definitely worth it to get to see them find their happy ending and the way they are so intune with each other and fight for the love they found with each other.

Well well well. I LOVED this book. I has suspicions that this book wouldn't be as good as the first book but man was I wrong...
Liz was such a bad ass 'can do anything' southern girl that needs no man. 
Raahosh is the grumpy silent type that doesn't talk to anyone but her, well I guess you have to talk to someone when you kidnap them.
Seriously could've been a 5 star with a little push, I HATED Georgie from book 1 in this book (like she didn't care about anyone but her relationship which was annoying AF.
But I mean you had fated mates, strangers to lovers, forced proximity, kidnapped, grumpy and grumpier. I devoured it.
I will continue to recommended this series.

AWESOME. I want all of my friends to read the series just so they can get to this book. Liz and Raahosh are incredible together, and I loved the push and pull of their love story. Onto book three!

I liked this one even more than the first one! I really loved the dynamic between Liz and Raahosh and I think he’s going to be my absolute favorite. Again, there’s nothing deep or crazy about this book but I really just enjoyed it for what it was and the romance aspect. I’ve been reading more serious books lately so it’s been fun to just read a lighthearted, smutty alien novel.

Loved this second book in the series, I actually think it is one of my favourites! I thought Liz's voice was going to be annoying, but her and Raahosh were very well matched and I loved getting to know them both! Sweet, steamy story and loved seeing more of the world!

This was another fun read!! I really enjoyed their dynamic even though Liz slightly bothered me. I definitely enjoyed the second half more so than the first but still super quick, and easy to read! But this is such an interesting world and I’m excited to continue on!

This was another easy read and a good addition to the series. I think this worked as a second book as Liz had fight in her. She wasn’t swept up with the whole fated mate destined to be together bull that came with their parasitic addition. She also questioned the society she was forced into and wanted the right to make her own choices rather than someone to choose for her. 

I was on her side through all of the choices she made and she was hilarious. I can’t wait to read some more of this series but it’s definitely one I can’t binge read. Or I can’t anyway.
