What fun!

What fun!

These are dense and very enjoyable.

Squirrel Girl is the superhero we didn't know we wanted, but needed. She's funny and can call on squirrels to do her bidding. What more can you expect from her?

Well, I started reading this in the hopes of going through the volumes and finally reading the War of the Realms tie ins and hey, maybe I’d like the stories that aren’t tied in too. But..... no, this is either for a younger audience or it’s just not good. Boring and tedious and try-hard for funny shit and funny slangs and whatnot which are not funny at all. I won’t be continuing simply because Main character is annoying as hell and the rest of the characters are boring and uninteresting. Artwork was fun!

This apparently is not meant for my age.

Nope.

words cannot express how much i love doreen green

Doreen and Scott are a perfect team-up. (I, like Maureen Green, kind of ship it.)

This was my favorite arc yet. Seeing Doreen face off against villains she can't beat so quickly is always rewarding. (Even though I was pretty pleased to see Rhino show up!) Also, a comic with Chipmunk Hunk, Koi Boi, and Brain Drain all teaming up was great fun.

I ship Doreen and Kraven so hard. SO HARD.

(Okay, I might also ship Nancy and Loki.) These omnibuses never fail to make me smile and laugh out loud. This one's no exception; Younger!Loki is funny, Tippy is Tippy which means she's perfect, and I loved the Silver Surfer arc.

THIS IS NOT HELPING ME STOP SHIPPING KRAVEN/DOREEN. Ryan North always makes me happy. I will confess I still really miss Erica Henderson's art style, but that's a minor quibble and something I'll get used to.

Squirrel Girl is a spot of hilarity that is well-needed among her fellow superheroes. Read if you need some giggles, and enjoy the fantastic art (a superhero with a voluptuous body? Yes please!)! Give Squirrel Girl a chance! After all, she talked Galactus down from eating Earth so...

I didn't know anything about Squirrel Girl before I picked this up. I now know a little more. It was an interesting and quick read.
