3 ⭐️ Genre: Adult romance Age group : 18+ ;) Trope: I love you but I shouldn’t Characters: 3.5/5 ⭐️ Plot: 2/5 ⭐️ Setting/Themes: 3/5 ⭐️ Writing: 4/5 ⭐️ • please check trigger warnings • mental disorders, mentions of suicide attempts, mature language, graphic sexual scenes • age - gap romance This was cute really. We get an inside look of Graham and Violet, Willow and Simon even the adorable Rose and Brendan. This was such a fun and cute read, super nostalgic too, seeing the rest of the Heartstone gang. I have an issue with this, though. Initially, Fallon was expressed as a lovesick girl, being terribly depressed and having her world falling apart because Dean left. But later on, we get to see that she got back up and moved forward. I love that Fallon is such a determined girl, she wants something she’s got it. As usual, we have the heartstone men fighting over their moral compass and the burning love for their younger lovers. I’ve grown to like the familiarity. However, I like that Dean’s a lot more sensible in the sense that it only took him a while before he caved in. Super fun, and really nostalgic. It can be read as a standalone, but it would be great if you understand the first 2 books too. . I also would’ve loved a lot More from the main couple. The novella wraps up the stories of the first two heartstone books for the most Part.
