Quickie Review (May Contain Spoilers)
So this book I had high hopes for but I also understood that this is one of her older books just with a newer cover and once you read it you know its not the writing she has been writing with recently. I am not sure how I feel about where she is going with Hannah to be honest. We shall see what happens if I want to continue or not shrugs But lets get back to Surrender.
I wanted to love Surrender. In fact, in the beginning it had such a solid start. I was immediately swept into the story and really enjoyed the whole "escape room" premise. However, once we get to the halfway mark, the story went downhill. It wasn't anything specific, the story just fell flat for me. It just seemed like there was so much raw energy to pull you into the story, and then it just fades into the background and I truly just became bored with the second half. It was disappointing to say the least.
