I really like this book. Perhaps because I’ve started to be more me as I age. But it was also practical and supportive.

And the epilogue in the audiobook was truly excellent.

Could have done without the profanity, but some solid advice that would have been even better if I’d followed it about 40 years ago. Think I’ll gift a copy to my teen,but she won’t approve of the language!

I guess that this was a not so bad reminder of owning it! I liked a few jokes but still find it hard to cope with slang language that has been everywhere in many self-help books... Do you think that such a tone is helpful for the readers? Upon my word, nope! So why not have these other versions for weirdos like me who believe firmly in slangless books... I mean if it's justified I don't mind the least... Yet I think that this is what the book is about, being less judgemental (not judging other humans preference to use/write/read slang or not) and about being you even if it means being difficult...
I am grateful for the author for sharing openly her mental health history, and that it ain't a joke ... Thank you
Would recommend it to anyone struggling with impostor syndrome, self-confidence issues, or anyone for that matter...
