3.5 stars. Originally read this in 2018 and wanted to do a reread so I could get through this author’s backlist. Just making my way through all kinds of small town romances lmao. This story has such a devastating start, but I loved getting to read about Presley’s journey to finding herself and learning to love in the aftermath of an awful tragedy and just generally moving on from old resentments/heartache from the past. This was an easy, quick pool side read (despite the sad start lol). It’s the perfect small town/cowboy/second chance romance. I just finished reading a book with a similar beginning vibe and couldn’t help comparing it the entire time and I feel like that’s why this one rated where it did for me. Regardless, I forgot how much I loved all the characters and I’m excited to keep reading the rest in this series.

What an amazing story!! Oh man, it was wonderful. It broke my heart in the beginning but then it mended it. Ugh, so much love for this. I recommend this to readers that love second-chance romance, small towns, tight family, and supportive friends!

Amazing book. It is very well written and I loved the characters. Can't wait for the next one

***5 Stars*** From the moment I picked up Beloved on ebook and read the first couple of lines, I knew I had discovered an amazing talented author. Since that day, I have followed and stalked Corinne Michaels and have read every single book she has written. From Jackson, to Liam, to Mark, to Zachery, she has never failed in giving us a lead male character who imprints in our hearts forever. From Catherine, to Natalie, to Charlie, to Presley, all strong, independent women whom you just create a special bond with and connect on such a level that no one else who would understand. Say You'll Stay will knock you on your knees from the very first page. It is a story of heartbreak, lies, secrets, love, friendships, and second chances. It makes you stop and think of all the choices you have made in your life. What if you had made a different decision and would your life still be the same or would you be on a completely different path? One decision that Presley Benson made put her on a completely different path than she planned when her then finance, Zachery took an offer he couldn't refused. Four years later, she is married and has two beautiful twin boys. But a terrible tragedy happens and puts her and the boys back in her hometown in Tennessee. There she is met with everything she left in her past, including Zachery. What decision will she make now? Will she stay or will she go?? ***I received an ARC copy in exchange for a honest review on behalf of Blackbird Book Reviews***

“One look, one choice, one moment of time was all it took to reaffirm all the reasons I loved him once upon a time." WOWZA!! WHY have I not picked up a Corinne Michaels book before this one?!? Where has she been all my life?! This book was EXACTLY what I needed. I can't believe how lucky I've been with finding new romance authors lately. *giddy happy dance* This book starts off with a bang to outdo all bangs. I planned on just reading one chapter before bed, just to see what Corinne's writing was like... and BAM!! Let's just say I read several chapters, and the only reason I actually put it down was because the clock told me I should expect only about four hours of sleep at that point. It was well past my bedtime and I forced myself to close the book and go to sleep. IT'S THAT GOOD! This book could easily be an all-nighter, and probably was for many. It such a strong story with incredible characters that sucks you right in and demands your full attention. This story definitely packs a punch and hits you right in the feels. HARD! There's emotional overload up the wazoo! I couldn't believe how hard this book hit me. From chapter one (Literally. Chapter one is ROUGH!) until the emotional ending chapters, this book had me filled to the brim with emotions running the gamut. I didn't expect to love this book as much as I did. I'm still thinking about, and I know it will remain with me for quite some time. I adored these characters. I loved the story. I wouldn't have changed a thing. This story had so much going for it. It was about horrible things happening to good people. Picking yourself back up after a tragic event. Trying to accept the fact that you don't always get the answers to "why" or "how". The process of moving on and finding happiness, even in the worst of situations. And most importantly, forgiveness and second chances. If you're a romance reader, definitely check this one out! “All I feel is his regret, and all I give him back is my forgiveness.” Audiobook Impressions: When I saw the narrators were Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, two of my absolute favorites, I knew I didn't have a choice but to download the audio. I was lucky enough to also receive a paperback copy from the incredibly sweet Corinne Michaels, so I was able to switch back and forth between the audio and paperback, depending on what I was doing. This came in quite handy since I wanted to read this book whenever I possibly could. Andi and Sebastian are truly remarkable, and never let me down. Two of the very best narrators out there, bringing an already-amazing story to life in a whole new way. Truly incredible! (Thanks to Corinne Michaels for the review copy!)
