I LOVE THIS SERIES! It seriously brings me so much joy. Kellen is growing so much and it's lovely to see. This book had way more political intrigue than I expected but I was engrossed. I really liked all the court machinations as well as the new characters we were introduced too. Shalla continues to be a pain in the arse for Kellen and Reichis continues to steal the show (as well as the butter biscuits). 5 stars, naturally!
