Queering the Popular Pitch

Presents essays in the study of popular music and situate queering within the discourse of sex and sexuality in relation to popular music. This work explores topics including the changing debates within gay, lesbian and queer discourse and how these relate to the dissemination of musical-texts performance, cultural production and sexual meaning.
