Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists

Delightful in every sense of the word! I admit I got a tad teary over Slughorn, and enjoyed the time and thought Jo put into each Minister of Magic or her ability to make us loathe Umbridge even more.

satisfied my need for more wizarding world content. i liked reading about Professor’s Horace Slughorn background especially in this book.

Every witch or wizard with a wand has held in his or her hands more power than we will ever know. With the right spell or potion, they can fabricate love, travel through time, change physical form and even extinguish life. In the wrong hands, power and magic can be dark, lethal, and consuming.

Thoroughly enjoyable I loved it. It provides amazing back story, much like Pottermore, but in a great, curated, digestible way. It also give a good deal of context and background to aspects of the core series. Absolutely would recommend.

This was much better than the first one that I read. It has a much better ratio of short story to author comentart, and I found the stories to be much more jnteresting and we'll written in general. I can see myself hoping for another one of these, but would prefer her to actually write a new novel in the HP universe not involving Harry and the crew.

I dont think I can ever get enough of Hogwarts or Harry Potter or the world J. K. Rowling has created
