Signs of Cupidity A Fantasy Reverse Harem Story
Reviews

3.5 i love emelle❤️🩹❤️🩹

I absolutely loved how cheerful and bubbly the main character was. Her sarcasm and happy go lucky nature really made me love her so much. Moreover, her interactions with the boys made me love the book even more. Tbh the book wasn’t promising towards the beginning but after she jumped out from that window things started getting a lot more interesting.

I've only read three other Raven books, but I knew that she was quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Her books have everything I could want in a story. Snark, smut, adventure...all of those fun things. Synospis Emelee (sp?) is a cupid, which sounds fun in theory because who wouldn't want to help other fall in love, especially a hopeless romantic. Unfortunately and ironically, it is a rather boring job. It is hard to have no companions or anyone to talk to, because Emelee is not corporeal. She must watch as others fall in love and it proves difficult. Then, she gets pulled back to HQ. Fearing the worst, she is ready to plead her case until her superior tells her that she will be in the Fae realm. The fae realm is where every cupid wants to be and Emelee is excited. Her first task is to get the prince and princess to fall in love, which she feels like she accomplished only to figure out that prince can't be tamed. To add insult to injury, the prince blasts her with his magic and she becomes seen! Fleeing the castle before anyone could catch her, Emelee falls out a window, attempts to fly but her wings aren't working, and falls down into a floating island. This is where she meets three fae men and must learn how to manage her new body. What I liked - Raven's writing. It is just super easy to binge. - I really loved the three fae males and the idea of a covey. It is a super interesting take. - The dialogue was pretty funny and some of the situations the characters were in were as well. What I Disliked - I'm not certain I cared for Emelee's dialogue. It was a lot. Sometimes I thought it was cute and other times it was a bit juvenile for me! - It took me a little bit longer to get into this story, only because I could not immediately connect with the character or the storyline. But about chapter 5 is when I started to connect! Overall, I'm excited to see where this story goes!

** spoiler alert ** Never really grasped my attention, but I liked it. I liked the main character, I liked all the guys. I’m still confused as to how she became tangible. Like did she shoot the prince so many times that he could sense her? Or did she turn herself mortal? Also she doesn’t seem concerned at all about what the Cupidverse will think about all this. I would think she would be worried that she’ll be poofed if she ever turns back into a Cupid, or that the Cupid higher ups will come for her, but she hasn’t mentioned it like at all. I do think I’ll read the next one, but I’m not super into the series as of now.
