Johns Book describes the life of Father John Levy, a tormented man with a shocking confession. After turning himself into authorities for the murder of a fellow priest and long-time friend, Father Matthew Spencer, Levy triggers the spread of doubt and confusion from Greenwich to Rome. Told in two parts, the story is relayed through the eyes of Dr. Abe Martin, a self-deprecating psychologist charged with evaluating Father John before trial.
