I really enjoyed this one. I'm not going to go into detail because it is the fifth book in the series. But, I listened to the audiobook and it went so fast. I enjoyed getting to see more of Cage's character, specifically beneath the rough exterior. I liked seeing his actual deep-down character and how he cared for Eva. I also really enjoyed Eva's character in this one. You got to learn more about her and the relationship with her father, which was great. I also really enjoyed Jeremy's character in this book; he is a great stand-up character. This dealt with some heavy topics, such as grief and loss. It was a fast, enjoyable read.

This might possibly be my favourite Abbi Glines book that I have read to date! I really enjoyed While it Lasts and was excited to read more about Cage and Eva but I wasn't expecting this to be so good. I read it in less than a day and I have never done that before for any book so I guess you can say that I was super into it. Even though it is pretty short, the passage of time in which the book progresses through is done really well. I wish it was longer but the fact that so much happens and it is done well is enough for me. I did have a couple of problems with a couple of the scenes early on, especially the prologue, I just didn't enjoy the the way it was done as I feel like it gave too much away. It just wasn't needed in my opinion I think that the plot twists would have been more exciting if I hadn't read it. So I'm going to recommend you skip it if you decide to read this book; I really wish someone had told me to. Overall it's well worth the read and I would absolutely recommend this book.
