Este libro es un recuento de Psique y Cupido, si ya conocen el relato pues el libro es básicamente como paso toda la historia entre ellos, comenzando por Psique siendo maldecida por la diosa del amor Venus, es decir, la madre de Cupido, y este intentando enamorar a Psique para salvarla y estar con ella, con la condición de que ella no debe de verlo en ninguno momento mientras ella piensa que su esposo es un monstruo. 
La verdad me aburrió la mayor parte del tiempo ver el punto de vista de Psique, porque nada pasaba y no sabíamos nada porque ella no debía saber nada sino el contrato terminaría y seria esclava de venus, todos esos capítulos se me hicieron eternos, sin embargo, cuando por fin (que pensé nunca pasaría) tuvimos el POV de Cupido todo tuvo sentido y la historia paso volando y se hizo entretenida, en conclusión, no es fuerte cualquiera puede leerlo, solo diré que si tienen algún problema con que en recuentos históricos muchas cosas no este relacionadas con la época tal vez no les guste el libro, en lo personal eso no me importa pero a veces me confundía, para que lo consideren.

This book is a retelling of Psyche and Cupid, if you already know the story then the book is basically how the whole story happened between them, starting with Psyche being cursed by the goddess of love Venus, that is, Cupid's mother, and him trying to make Psyche fall in love with him in order to save her and be with her, on the condition that she should not see him at any time while she thinks her husband is a monster.
Honestly it bored me to see Psyche's point of view, because nothing happened and we did not know anything because she should not know anything or contract would end and she would be Venus's slave, all those chapters were eternal, however , when we finally (which I thought would never happen) had Cupid's POV everything made sense and the story flew by and became entertaining, in conclusion, it is not strong anyone can read it, I will only say that if you have any problem with somentimes in historical books many things are not related to the time, you may won’t like the book, personally that doesn't matter to me but sometimes I was confused.

4.5-5 stars – SO, so good! I love mythology retellings, and this Cupid/Psyche retelling was brilliant and beautifully written. I fell so hard for the story and felt for the struggle Psyche faces with her unknown husband. It's a pure, romantic read I highly recommend!
