Sparks Rise (The Darkest Minds, Book 2.5)
Reviews

Once again my emotions are a a hot mess, and it's all thanks to this story. So many great things, we get to see the ugly truth of the camp through Sams eyes, see just what happened to those reds Clancy stole. We get to get a taste of the hurt that goes into seeing a glimpse of the life these kid lost and the bleak outlook of the future. We also get to see the hope that is still alive, the people still fighting for the kids that were stolen from their world and the hope they keep believing will see them through. This was darker story, and thought parts were cringe worthy they were that way for a reason, for perspective in my opinion, because if we are being honest it wouldn't be unlikely for those situations to be true if this story was real.

WHY WHY WHY!!! ALEXANDRA BRACKEN JUST CANT WRITE ANYTHING THAT DOESNT LEAVE ME SOBBING AND STARING OFF INTO SPACE WITH FEELS AND TEARS.

*ugly sobbing* that was necessary?

Please don't let this be the end of lucus and sam! I want more of them! Come back! Let her sing you home

Crying. Why would you do this to us? If Sam and Lucas aren’t ok and free and TOGETHER by the next book, I will be throwing the book.

HOW DARE YOU, BRACKEN?
