If I'm being totally honest, it was the one I was looking forward to the least of the Bad Boy Homecoming series, only because rock star books typically aren't my thing. Ironically enough, it ended up being my favorite of the entire series.  Travis and Rae delivered ALL THE FEELS. I mean, they had their share of the hot and sexy times, too, but it was the feels that got me with this one. From the first pages, where we learn about how they parted all those years ago, I was totally in for this couple. Once they were reunited, I desperately hoped they could make things work this time. It was obvious they were the real deal and meant to be together, it was just that their lives were taking them in different directions. I knew that, even as they were having their reunion fling, there was a chance things still wouldn't work out for them and it broke my heart. That's where all the feels came in — because of how completely invested I was in them.  Every little thing about this book was perfect IMHO. I loved Travis and Rae. If more of the men in other rock star books were like Travis, I'd probably still be reading them. He was vulnerable and sweet and super hot. He hadn't been a saint while he and Rae were parted, but we didn't have to hear about it, so it was easy for me to ignore. Plus, you know, it'd been ten years so I couldn't exactly expect celibacy. After all, Rae had other relationships, too. But this story wasn't about the time they were apart. It was about them coming back together. It was hot. It was super sweet. It gave me TONS of feels and I even shed a few tears along the way. My heart melted all over the place before it was all said and done.  Rock Star was my first Stacy Kennedy book, but it won't be my last. Any time an author can get me this invested in a story, a couple, in under 200 pages, I have to check out more of their books. I'll be adding backlist books to my TBR and devouring them as time allows. While I'm sad the Bad Boy Homecoming series is over, I can't deny that it went out with a bang. I LOVED this one.  FAVORITE QUOTES Some people needed a smoke, or a shot of alcohol, or maybe even a bath to relax. She needed books. They were her escape. "Tonight's all about you. Every goddamn fucking inch of you." "I like the way you want me, Rae. The way you need me." He saw everything needed to see in her eyes. The happiness. The love. He saw forever.
