Soy fan de la saga y cómo me paso con los anteriores, siento que me completa un montón la historia de las películas, además la lectura fue súper ágil.

the idea of being luke skywalker or a student of force in general is actually fun, but this wasn’t the right book for that.

This book is not well written. The voice is straight up not well done, the point of view bounces between 2nd and 3rd person which is VERY confusing, it's all in present tense, which can be fine but it's not in this book. But my biggest issue? He skips scenes. Almost every scene between Han and Leia isn't there, merely skipped, as if anyone needs to skip those scenes. It's incredibly annoying. But the number thing I hate is that he changed almost every single line between Luke and Yoda. The lines that are the best lines of dialogue in all of Star Wars, save perhaps the animated series, but that banter is so well done BECAUSE of these lines! And to see hardly any of them at all presented in this novel is beyond frustating. I adore every line, every interaction with Luke and Yoda. It's hilarious and funny and deep at all the right times. It sets up Yoda as this wise, joking, fun, and powerful little creature who has been a Jedi for almost a millinium, who ensures the jedi don't die out due to Anakin or any other Skywalker, in Legends and Canon. Changing or straight up losing his lines are a big deal to me. This cannot be given even 3 stars, it's so bad. Not a good book. Physically beautiful, but not well done at all. 2.5/5

DNF Wow, I can't believe I'm giving this only 1 star, but it was a HUGE disappointment. I hate the third-person perspective. I don't understand why that was the chosen format because the ‘from-a-certain-POV’ style in The Princess, the scoundrel, and the Farm Boy worked SO much better.
