A Real Cowboy Always Protects
Reviews

I feel ashamed that this series somehow passed me by! All the back catalogue of this series are going onto the TBR list ASAP! Skylar is just about the perfect heroine. She is sweet, funny, flirty, hard-working. She may have the *tiniest* crush on her next door neighbour, the handsome but elusive Logan. But when a chance good-deed lands her in hot water, she is going to have to rely on Logan for a lot more than flirty banter! Logan is just a dream of a lead. He has a lot on his plate as a spy for the CIA. He's just about cut himself off from his own family, all in an attempt to keep them safe from his job. But when things go pear-shaped and his enemies now have Skylar in their sights, well there is no place like home when you want to get off the grid. Both are carrying scars, theirs are just not as visible as others. Skylar abandonment issues thanks to the horrible treatment of her friends and her ex-husband and Logan has a childhood full of abuse at the hands of his father. Both these broken souls realise that they want and possibly need each other, but neither seem to be prepared to take the first step - both scared to lose what emotional stability they have already. The Stocktons are the kind of family everyone wants to be part of. Sure they have their issues and problems but when you take on one, you take on them all! Poor Skylar didn't know what to make of all these huggy, handsome, protective males and their spitfire wives. Definitely a series I'm going to go back and devour!
