This books was good but again I’m getting tired of the “in the closet/homophobic parents” trope in queer novels, it’s getting exhausting especially when it’s in SO many books out there. I didn’t really like how they “fell in love” so quickly but that could just be me and my affinity for a slow burn. This book felt like it was written by an adult who thinks they’re very hip on young people™️, which made it kind of difficult to enjoy but again that’s just me. Definitely wasn’t a waste of time though I wouldn’t read it again. I say if you’re interested give it a try cause who knows you just might love it for all the reasons I don’t.
