Sugar Daddies
Reviews

I started this book thinking it'd make me cringe and shy away. It didn't.
The cover makes it look like a completely sex driven novel, which is not, I found a storyline that I didn't expect to be there and I liked the characters way more than I thought I would.
I liked the double pov but since the main characters are all together in a relationship, I would have liked to have a third one from Rick's perspective.

Sugar Daddies is a standalone by Jade West. I don't get a chance to read too many standalones these days. I grabbed this up for my Romanceopoly pick, because I have heard the best things about this book and its been a long while since I have picked up a menage romance and this was also a new to me author and I absolutely had a great time with this one. It took a bit longer than I expected to get through it but its also 450 pages, so its a bit of a chunker but I had so much fun all the way through this one. It definitely had some aspects that I wasn't expecting of it, but I enjoyed the way that this author developed the story.
Sugar Daddies is basically what the title portrays. It begins with our male protagonists: Carl and Rick who are both bi sexual and have been together for years, but there is something more that they want, they want a woman to share their lives with but this is their last chance to find the happy ever after that they have both been searching for. Then comes into the party: Katie. Katie is searching for her dreams, she wants to run a horse school ranch of sorts. But in order to start her dream, she needs money and a lot of it. But she also has desires that she wants to explore with Carl and Rick. At first its a simple arrangement, but then it becomes clear that there is so much more building between them. What she doesn't expect is that love would filter its way into their heart and bring them together in ways they would least expect...
Sugar Daddies is a story that is about a menage romance. Now I will be frank that this didn't feel like a true menage. I was a bit disappointed with how Rick was more of a background character. In the first 1/3 we do see quite a bit of him. But then mostly the rest of the story, his character tends to fade into the backgroud, and the focus is on Carl and Katie. Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved seeing Carl and Katie together and seeing them grow and I do think that due to some character development that is needed with Katie, it was necessary in some ways. But I do wish that the author had maybe put this into a duet to focus on Katie and Rick together a bit more.
Now as for the heroine. She was a bit of a battle to enjoy as a character. She is a bit prickly and at first it was turning me off a bit from her. Eventually, I grew to really enjoy her character though. But she can be prickly and there is quite a bit of swearing in this one, so keep that in mind and be prepared for some crude language at times. The heroine can be hard to like at times, she is very bitter towards her family, so that was hard to see. But she goes through this transition and coming to terms with her past, the secrets of her family and with the assistance of Carl is able to find healing in that regard. Jade West did a superb job in writing her character though.
The romance itself was a solid win for me. The steam of the story is BLAZING, so keep that in mind depending on the steam level you are going for. I did enjoy the way that Jade West wrote these scenes and I am definitely looking forward to more books from her. Such captivating writing that sucked me into the story so quickly.
Overall, I found Sugar Daddies to be a charming, sexy as hell romance that will curl your toes with tingles and deep riveting emotion and leaving you itching for more delights from this author!

It was so bad and cringe I only stayed for the smut and even that was not that enjoyable. The girl was acting a little immature and petty.

Me gustan los personajes que aparecen y la relación entre ellos, es lo que ha hecho que el libro merezca la pena. Por otro lado.... No soy muy fan del tema embarazo y darlo todo por el bebé. Definitivamente no mi trama.

This book is full of love and romance and steamy scenes! I would personally be too scared to try the whole sugar daddy scene but in this book everything about is romantic. The plot of this book is interesting and different from most millionaire romances. It’s constantly interesting and I enjoyed the story a lot. The characters are also brilliant! I love the guys so much and I like Katie as well. I really like the relationship between the main characters especially when it grows into love. This is a lovely, beautiful story about love and acceptance and family. A brilliant story if you are okay with not so traditional love story.

Menagé a Yay! First time reader of Jade West and it will not be my last. I love my smut with a plot and this did not disappoint.

(WARNING R18+ IF YOURE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH SPICY 🌶️ )
I-uh-I-um😀 so-well-uh-it’s-um😀
sex everywhere all the time with a poly relationship.
She’s a horse girl.
It’s very cutesy also lots of sex did I say that? There’s so much😀
First chapters are very blunt I had to take a breather😀 but umm basically there’s more porn than plot but the plot was there and very cute

Still can't believe I read a book like this and I still can't believe I full on enjoyed it! Is it possible to want more? Because I do. I got so hooked!

3.5* Why is it always random recs from reddit/TT that bring books you can't put down even when you see their flaws?

I was expecting this book to be super cringe and weird. I was blown away when I realized it was neither, this book had just the right amount of steam and plot. And when I say steam, I mean HOT. I think that the character development also played out really nice for Katie and her sister. I do think that the rivalry between the two was a little over the top because in the end it was all just jealously and miscommunication. 4.5/5

definitely read the warnings before reading this book!! and it’s also a 18+ book i read this book in a day my friend convinced me to read it i didn’t think i was gonna like it bc i don’t really like throuples but it was good plot wise and i couldn’t stop reading and the sugar daddies lasted like 2 seconds lmao i give a 4/5 just bc i’m not into polyamory i’m too jealous for that

Great story, sweet romance! I did not see the plot twist coming at all. Most of all in this story, despite all the excellent smut, the best part was the reconciliation between characters, the growth, and the revealing of nature. Great story!

For what reason did this book feel so long and have NOTHING to show for it.

I liked this book, but reading it on audiobook and hearing “hot bodies” every time they had sex was a cringe for me. Also the “conflict” I predicted right away. But still an enjoyable listen/read. The smut was 🌶🌶🌶🌶

I didn't expect this to be as sweet as it was I expected hot, and spice... And there was definitely that! But the story line about family? Both those we have by nature and those we choose? Much sweeter than I imagined. Very good story!!

AMAZING i cannot emphasize enough how amazing this book is. It is my first read from the author and I think I found one of my new favourite authors! Great read!!

This book actually surprised the heck out of me with how good the story was. I went into it just wanting something super smutty and nasty which I guarantee you is what I got. However the plot was so enjoyable I was really into it. Carl Carl Carl is so my type he was so dominant, strong, powerful & a sweetheart he was so easy to love. Rick was super funny & he cracked me up the whole time. Katie was a badass sis knew what she wanted from the jump & went into it full swing , I loved that about her. She was a bit weirdly obsessed with having 2 dicks in her though & no matter how hot this was written my vagina was cringey a bit just thinking about it IRL lmao. This was a good read, if you’re looking for something sexy, angsty & fun this is your jam.

Surprisingly Amazing! I went into this book expecting a poorly formatted, smutty ménage. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful book with excellent characters, plot, and writing style. Jade West, you have IMPRESSED me. This book is so wonderful. I love the MMF dynamic. I love the age-gap trope. I love the character arcs. I love the plot execution. I love the spice. I love the pacing (even if it was a bit off at times). I love so many things about this book. I am so happy I read this book. West outdid herself, crafting a novel that had me laughing out loud, on the verge of tears, clenching my thighs, and totally engrossed in reading. If you're looking for a ménage book where they are all mature adults who COMMUNICATE, respect each other, and form bonds in fantastically intricate ways, this is the book for you. I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!! I WISH THERE WAS AN EXTENDED EPILOGUE!

Sugar Daddies was one of the hottest books that I’ve read in the past months, maybe even in the past couple of years. We have a lot of dirty, hot sex, that will leave you wanting to have a relationship like theirs. But we also have romance, lots of it. Carl and Rick are a couple looking for Little Miss Right. And usually, I feel like the couple forgets about them when we add a third person, but that’s not what happened in this book. It’s clear that Carl and Rick love each other, and they really want someone to complete their relationship, and not just because of the amazing sex. Carl and Rick love each other, and they each fall in love with their girl in their own way. It’s truly amazing to see how Jade West developed the relationship between them.

MM/F romance. Carl and Rick are a bi couple looking to add a female to their family and to fulfill their dreams. So along come Katie, who answers an ad to supplement the cost of her dream. It turns into much more. I really enjoyed this book. This is the second book that I have read by this author. She does a great job giving the reader and actual story mixed with a good balance of hot sexy time. This book was a good time, with a good story and good characters. Will definitely read more by this author.

I do love a good menage story. Carl and Rick were awesome, complete opposites. I adored Rick, but Carl was quite simply my man. He was just perfect. With his gruffer manner, bossy, domineering, bluntly honest, yet can belt out Eye of the Tiger like Rocky on acid. How can you not love it. And this was super hot. It was no holds barred and completely unapologetic on just how realistically explicit it got. Carl and Rick were a great couple, so in love. For me, they maybe fell in love with the heroine a touch too quickly, but I was so caught up in the story, I did not actually care really. It was lovely to see some of the private moments between Carl and Rick early on in the book. And when Katie was introduced, and seeing how they worked around her becoming more of an equal member of the relationship as opposed to an arrangement for kinks, was great and well handled. I liked the story with Katie and her family although at times, felt Katie was a little unfair, however, it was clear she was just blinded when it came to that, she was still the same little 10 year old scared girl with that situation. For me, it was maybe a touch rushed at the end, but overall, it is a filthy, kinky 4 stars. Will definitely read more by this author.
