Half-Minute Horrors
Reviews

Cute middle grade 1-4 page short horror stories by Lemony Snicket, James Patterson, R. L. Stine, Joyce Carol Oates, Michael Connelly, Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood and many others. I originally stumbled across this while buying up every Atwood novel I could find. This one didn’t disappoint. It was a nice, easy seasonal read.

Oh this was great. It is just like that feeling when you walk in the candy store. All those sweet tastes that don't last for too long, all those hard candy u can crack and the ones you could choke on. Great collection, variety of authors, some famous some I never read, some not even horor genre writers giving me the chills. Structure of the actual stories is well made concept so you don't get bored or lost and you don't have to make pause in the middle of one.

Some good creepy stories in here if you can get through the rest of them. But as half-minute stories, they're over pretty quickly. It's in our children's section, but some of the stories can be pretty macabre. Might not be for all kids

Great for short read alouds in class. Many of the stories can be used for inference skills.

Loved it.
