It's not easy to develop characters or a storyline well in 57 pages, but Tawna Fenske manages to do just that with Eat, Play, Lust. It was a sweet and sexy novella; an easy read with a happily ever after. If you're looking for a short, well-written romance with a touch of heat and likable characters, look no further.

Cami is a yoga instructor with food issues. She was overweight when she was younger, and that, combined with her mother's constrictive, all healthy all the time attitude towards food, she is embarrassed to indulge her self-proclaimed "white-trash food lust."


  
    "Not that I was trying to find out your age. I know it's rude to ask an attractive woman her age. Or any woman, regardless of whether she's attractive. I mean, obviously a woman's value isn't determined by her level of attractiveness. … Not that I'm implying you aren't attractive. Obviously you're knock-down, drop-dead, leave 'em howling gorgeous, and— … Can you just pull my foot out of my mouth before you punch me? It hurts less that way."
  


Paul, a "broad-shouldered, desperately hot lumberjack" of a man, is student in her yoga class. He's also a gourmet chef. Paul signed up for private paddleboard yoga lessons to get closer to Cami. The chemistry between he and Cami was instantaneous. Paul was so adorably awkward. Their unintentional double entendre-laced dialogue was giggle out loud funny at times.

While I found most of this novella to be sweet and funny, it has a sexy side, too. There is definitely some, shall we say "creative" heat, when Cami and Paul give in to their lust for one another.

I enjoyed this bite-sized taste of Cami and Paul. I'd definitely go back for a second helping.
