Wonderfully written with the right amount of plot twists and moral conundrums. Enjoyed this one from beginning to end like any Taylor Jenkins Reid book!

When the focus was on Monique, the zest of the reading backed back a bit. But still i was so caught in, the complexity of Evelyn, all the relationship made me asking for more and more. I dont remember the last time i finished a book within two days...

I actually really enjoyed this book. It was a super quick read - mainly because I couldn’t put it down! I can see this being adapted for the big screen so easily - it’s an easy book to visualise. 

Although I predicted the ending, I loved the structure of the book and how it was divided per husband — even though they’re not really the focus. 

Surprisingly, I think it dealt with some big topics pretty well for the time it was set in. 

My biggest gripe with it was the lack of storyline about the daughter. I think it lost some believability because of it.

If you’re going on holiday, or need to switch off, I recommend a read!

Evelyn Hugo is a movie icon from the 60’s , she tells the story of her road to become and maintain her title as the best even if that meant to break her own heart so many times .

This book is just so amazing and fantastic. It made me believe that it was real because of how beautifully and realistically written this book is. I did cry a lot while reading the most parts of these book. An eye-opener, heartbreaking, and very inspiring book.

i think what i enjoyed most about this book more than the sapphic aspects of it was the different kinds of relationships it conveyed with every marriage. i know it's obvious that harry's was the most impactful, but it had the chapters i loved the most. 

i love how the book showed that platonic relationships are as complex as romantic ones, and i love how evelyn's vulnerability differed when she was with celia, coming from a place of love and passion, while with harry, it was from having a deep understanding of each other and visibility. 

i would love to read this again some time in the future with hopes that i get to pick up things i wasn't able to today.
