good easy to read book. Loved how it shows u the two variations of what could happen in life.

personally believe everyone needs a best friend like gabby

Wow!
This book follows two parallel universes of Hannah's life based on one small decision.
Taylor Jenkins Reid does it again! Her writing really grips you from the first page, especially when she's writing about a concept that has always intrigued me, the multiverse theory. She creates very different outcomes for Hannah and is not afraid to shock you from the first second it splits! Even when the one storyline reveals plot points to the other, this was done so exquisitly that I wasn't bothered by it at all, and I actually enjoyed the slow reveals of what we already expected.
I loved Hannah's character and how she faced up to her bad decisions and determines to make the most of both lives before her. In both universes, we see her adapt and grow and face her past decisions head-on to make the most of the life in front of her.
Theres such a strong female friendship within these pages between Hannah and Gabby, which I loved reading, having never really experienced that bond they share in my own life.
I found the whole story (both versions of it) heartbreaking, funny, inspiring, and the outcomes so beautifully heartwarming that I found tears in my eyes and a smile on my face.

If you are lookimg for a light read , try this book.
Maybe In Another Life is my third TJR book. This is not my favorite TJR read but I love this too. Although the end was predictable I enjoyed this book and finished this within a couple of hours.
At the age of twenty-nine, Hannah Martin still has no idea what she wants to do with her life. After living in different states in USA she returns to Gabby, her bestfriend who lives in LA where Hanna lived the most years of her life.
On the night she returns , Gabby takes her out to celebrate her return with their old friends.Just after midnight, Gabby asks Hannah if she’s ready to go. A moment later, Ethan offers to give her a ride later if she wants to stay. Hannah hesitates. What happens if she leaves with Gabby? What happens if she leaves with Ethan?
So, the rest is told in 2 perspectives , in alternating chapters, we see two possible scenarios unfold—with stunningly different results exploring the concept of parallel universes.
After reading the book I started thinking what if I take a wrong decision in my life and then miss a whole another life full of happiness. What if I would be directed to the path to grief over the path to happiness because of a single decision I make.
However I loved Hannah's story with Ethan and I am team Ethan beyond doubt. Also I loved Hannah's adventure with Charlemagne , the pup. 😂 The most adorable & the important thing that I observed in the story is Hannah's friendship with Gabby. We all need a Gabby in our lives.
