Temptation (The Hunted #1)
Reviews

This just wasn’t it for me. First of all it ends on a cliffhanger (I hate those types of books with a passion) so if I knew that I would not have picked it up. Secondly you don’t get to know what happens to them for 8 whole books. That’s too much about one couple lmao.
Third, and here is the big one, they kind of just dropped that the FMC was 19 out of the blue after it seemed like she was closer to his age. Thought I get they are both adults, I’m not sure I really like that.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend

i can’t believe a woman wrote this. never have i read a book where i don’t like any of the female characters, but this was the first. no wait scratch that, i didn’t like ANY of the characters. why the hell did she portray all the female characters like that. it felt like all of them had bad traits like: a cheater, gold digger, mean, crazy, had anger issues or were a bad friend. i’m shocked. plus none of the characters seemed to have a personality. it was just so bad. the dialogue was crap most of the time, it was 89% cringe, and what was the deal with her calling him professor hunter all the god damn time? no. just no. i don’t know if this book even deserves a star. it’s safe to say that i’m not gonna read the next book.

Professor/Student relationships are one of my favorite tropes and Temptation hits all the right marks when it comes to a hot, irresistible forbidden love story. Instant attraction and a White Knight scenario leads to Professor James Hunter and Penny not being able to control their desires. They did put up a bit of a fight but honestly... not too much. The chemistry between them is simply undeniable no matter how many secrets stay hidden beneath the surface. The entire time you’re listening there is part of you that’s waiting for the ball to drop between Professor Hunter and Penny. Megan Crawford is a newer narrator to me and she did well! Her voice is a perfect fit for Penny, especially when it comes to the character’s age bracket and she was easily able to carry the male’s voice. Penny struggles with not knowing all of James, her internal battles fit the character and her maturity level as well. It made the connection between them more realistic and I loved that. James is one hell of a demanding, sexy as sin Professor... Penny stood zero chance. He’d make any woman melt! Although she’s come clean by the end of this first book James still has a lot to tell. I instantly downloaded book 2 after finishing, desperate to know what happens.

It just wasn’t my cup of tea There are a few things i couldn’t get over, but it could be that it wasn’t my cup of tea. *shrug*

Now this..... this....🤌. I've binged the first 5 books and I can't get enough!
