I loved this book and am a huge fan of Fiona Davis. I read this in one sitting. The history in this book is what grabbed me right from the beginning. Books set in this time period are my fiction addiction! Great story line and characters that seemed so real. I look forward to this authors next book.

The Address was a facinating look at New York City life and the building of The Dakota. So much attention to detail made for a truly great read!

I will definitely be reading this author again!

           This had a slow start for me, but once I got into I really enjoyed it. I liked the mystery of finding out the lineage of Bailey and the satisfaction of Miranda's discovery. I thought it was generally going to be a romance, which it was but to find out what Theo was actually like left me shocked!

i went into this book not expecting to like it much, honestly. i usually don’t read these sort of books but i was recommended it by a professor at college so i gave it a shot. 

i did enjoy it, for the most part. the atmosphere and characters are what really made me like this novel. since the novel is told in two different points of views, the visage of new york during the late 1800s and late 1900s was super interesting! yet, the plot become very predictable about a quarter of the way through. i managed to correctly predict the ending so that made the novel less enjoyable for me. that’s why i am giving this three and a half stars. 

but, i would recommend this to others because i really enjoyed the two intertwining plots and point of views!! it was still interesting to see everything come together.
