The Awakening of Ivy Leavold
Reviews

It started in a pretty unbelievable way at first but the spice was so good and the tension point. So I kept going and it did get better. Overall, the love story was great. It's been so since i've enjoyed a good age gap romance. Sierra Simone knows how to write spice. Now I know haha

I have mixed feelings for this one. I enjoy Sierra Simone but this historical romance felt much to modern for my taste, more so I believe because I am currently watching Downton Abbey. But it picked up after the first 30 pages or so and with some exceptions I was enjoying it. I will say the steam didn't seem as good, which could possibly be because I was not a big fan of this book. I also feel that since this book is three (?) separate novellas it may have been better as just one long book. Glad I have the second to start. Hoping the book picks up a bit more since I've suspended my disbelief more.

Rushed and insta-lovely but damn if Sierra Simone isn’t my weakness.
