This book is a 2.5 for me. It was an enjoyable, easy read. It's not a book that I took very seriously, just the kind to pass by my time and enjoy something different than what I usually read. It wasn't a splendid story, since the romance was very predictable, but the way it was written was what I really loved. I did not have to be in any way related to the character because of how much the words that were being said were related to me. About how many readers have found Isadora (the main character) annoying, I didn't find her that bad at all, we have all been through that as teenagers, so it wasn't something very pesky.

Couldn’t even finish. Don’t waste your time. The main character is insufferable and the plot is nonexistent.

I really enjoyed this. I don't have much knowledge about Egyptian myths and gods, and this book offered that, in a simple way. It wasn't hard to understand the myths, and they were offered in a humorous way. I liked the way the author tied in the Greek mythology as well. The romance was extremely satisfying, and I really wouldn't mind having a second book, because I love Isadora and her gang of friends.
