I liked the plot and the point of this book, it was interesting and original enough to keep me hooked. But it was missing some depth and background - it felt like it was moving on too fast and many things were left unexplained. But it was easy to read and the characters were great. Maybe the next book will provide some background and depth.

Except for one minor publishing mistake with the wrong name inserted in a place, I found everything about this book enjoyable. The story was clear and although it wasn't what the covered described of being 'hunger games meets Jurassic park' it created an even more enjoyable world. The character's relationships were written amazingly and the writing made it easy to create a picture of the world in your mind, as well as leading smoothly onto a sequel.

Ik vond dit boek iets minder leuk dan het eerste boek, maar zeker niet zo slecht dat ik deel 3 niet wil lezen! Ik kan al in grote lijnen voorspellen wat er zou gebeuren en ik had ook al bepaalde plot twists in mijn hoofd, maar hoe deze waren uitgewerkt was echt super gaaf! Het is een typisch tweede boek in een trilogie en ik kijk uit naar deel 3!

'The Hunger Games meets Jurassic Park', en ja dat deed het. Ik ben groot fan van The Hunger Games en ik had soms echt wel 'flashbacks' naar deze boeken. Storm is sterk, ze maakt een mooie ontwikkeling door en ook Lincoln is mooi neergezet, Dell is totaal niet cliché, wat ik ook een pluspunt vond. Het einde was mooi, ik had het niet verwacht maar het maakte het verhaal wel 'af'. Er komt een deel 2, wat naar mijn idee niet volledig nodig zou zijn als aanvulling op dit verhaal. Ik heb dit deel wel in de pre-order staan dus zodra deze binnen is, ga ik m wel lezen.

I found this to be a fun and engaging read. I mean a book described as Hunger Games meets Jurassic Park had a lot to live up to and this book did a pretty good job of delivering. I liked our two pov characters and I loved the dinosaurs. It's a really intriguing plot and I cannot wait for the next book. 4 and a half stars from me.

I loved this book! I adored the first book and this one was just as good. Storm is such an interesting character and Lincoln is a sweetheart as well. I liked the deeper information we got about the world in this one and the set up for some political manoeuvrings for the next book too. Piloria was once again described really well and the encounters with the dinosaurs had me thoroughly engaged. I cannot wait for more in this series!

I have loved this series so much and I am really going to miss it. Storm and Lincoln are such great characters and I love their development throughout the story. Seeing more of Piloria was a joy and I like that the ending is left so that there could be more in the world if the author wanted to go back.

A thoroughly enjoyable read and satisfying end to the trilogy.
