My second Sarah Knight audiobook, and I related to this more than the first one I listened to, Get Your Shit Together. I appreciate the author's ideas and personally want to follow her path with this regard.

Ok, if you're like me and take things too personally or care about what others think of you thus giving too many fucks to non-important issues, I suggest you give this a quick read. I started to categorize my fuck budget and I learned the following: You can sidestep the prospect of hurt feelings entirely when you view your conflict through the lens of simple, emotionless opinion. I read this as an audiobook during downtime at work. That part was very gratifying! I think it just reaffirmed what I already knew about identifying and setting priorities and following your heart to your best life. The author’s constant puns and efforts at wittiness can get rather tediously annoying, but her message is valid and useful. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone all too often finding themselves short on time and long on doing things that they really don’t want to do, with people they don’t like that much. A fine piece of literature it is not, but I don’t really give a fuck about that; I enjoyed being validated and that always feels good.

Knight is a bit (very) crude at times (throughout the whole book), but honestly, this book made me laugh and feel a bit more nonchalant about things. I can appreciate her sentiments and humor. I highly recommend listening to the audiobook (read by the author) as you read! A 5-star listen and a 4-star read.

My immediate final thoughts: I am ready to live my best life.

I actually loved this book. My Aunt got it for me last Christmas and I've been too busy to read it, but I'm really glad I finally got around to it. 

Personally, I give way too many fucks about everything, and it has gotten to a point to where it's starting to become detrimental to my mental health. I just don't have the energy to care about everything, except my natural instinct is to CARE ABOUT EVERYTHING. And then when I decide not to I am instantly hit with crushing guilt. 

Because of this, I found this book to be exactly what I needed to hear. It helped me to realize something that I probably wouldn't have thought about otherwise, and after reading it I feel like a burden has been lifted from my shoulders. I don't HAVE to do anything I don't want to do (as long as I'm not hurting anyone else by not doing it). It seems like such a simple thing, and yet, there's probably hundreds more people out there who benefited (or would benefit) from this book the same way that I did. 

The author does say "fuck" a lot, but honestly what did you expect? It's in the title of the book. 

Like most self-help-y books, I got distracted 3/4 of the way through. This has nothing to do with the book itself, it's just me doing me "oh my gosh, this is so great! I totally get it! Why are there still 40 pages left?" thing. Does she have a sequel on how to be less impatient? Because I should probably read it. 

Also: it was hilarious. I laughed out loud 8+ times while reading. 

Recommend to everyone who cares too much and doesn't mind a few (or many) swears!

It wasn't long before she devoured it and started quoting phrases like "if it's elastic, it feels fantastic" and the need to be able to fit a bottle of wine in your purse. Filled with great quips, it's hard not to laugh during this one.

What a fun book! I have to admit it probably could’ve been half as long...but the general advice is good and the style it was written in was awesome! I don’t fully agree with some of the advice given, but it’s still worth the read!

It was overall a good wake up call. A lot of common sense that people tend to ignore or push aside for many reasons. I felt she tried a little too hard sometimes and would lose focus in trying to make a joke. Other than that, well organized and made sense.

I read the "The Subtle Art of not Giving a Fuck" first. It was a lot about taking your own responsibility about your feelings ans stop giving a fuck about every small and big life annoyances. 

This book is more focused on key points like, family, work, friends and things. It helps you get on your way to not giving a fuck and not be an asshole. I liked this book mostly for the feeling of recognition I got: "Thanks goodness I'm not the only one who doesn't give a single fuck about this and that." I'm not an asshole for not giving a fuck, just gotta know how to politely not give a fuck. 

Three stars instead of four. While I like the sarcastic writing style, I did not like the overtly patronizing tone in the beginning.
