The kind of book that - if even 50% of it is true is enough to make ones blood boil at the injustice of it all. Of course we do not know but given the nature of man and the ability of men to easily take credit it is entirely credible. 
But one has to wonder - and historical fiction has that cheeky way of putting words in people's mouths ...

Oh! This book made me so mad! Grrr. Like I am so affronted and insulted that I need to read an Einstein biography STAT to figure out what the actual hell this dude was like. Because once again a brilliant WOMAN was overshadowed by a man. And this is the most infuriating characteristic of this book, regardless that it is fictional. But, I will reserve my declared dislike of Einstein till after reading a biography of him. 
The writing of the book itself was fantastic. This would make a great book club read because I think it would generate a lot of discussion from various viewpoints.

The author focused on the cliché of "the woman behind a great man" and I believe this book would have been far more interesting if it had followed Mileva's life separate from Einstein's. Thank you Netgalley and SOUCEBOOKS Landmark for the ARC! Full review on my blog.

Really interesting take on Einstein's little-known first wife. Gave me a lot to think about this famous man. Based on letters between the two and what little documented evidence there is.

           Wow wow wow! I love books that empower females, and I felt for Mitza's struggle the whole time. But let me tell you, Albert infuriated me. The author made him out to be the most narcissistic, controlling, asshole to ever walk the planet. Not sure how historically accurate it is, but it broke my heart for Mitza. So glad that she left him in the end, should have been years sooner.
